Ingredients

4 boneless pork chops

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon butter

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Season the Pork Chops

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.

2. Sear to Perfection

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until beautifully golden brown and cooked through.

3. Add the Butter Glaze

Reduce the heat to low and add the butter to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter and caramelized brown sugar mixture over the pork chops for extra flavor and shine.

4. Serve and Enjoy

Transfer the pork chops to a serving plate and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.

Tips & Variations

Add a splash of soy sauce for a deeper savory flavor.

Sprinkle a little chili powder or cayenne pepper for a sweet-and-spicy twist.

Bone-in pork chops work beautifully and stay extra juicy.

For an oven-finished version, transfer the skillet to a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven for 8–10 minutes after searing.

These Brown Sugar Pork Chops are sweet, buttery, flavorful, and guaranteed to become a family favorite!
