Heavenly Caramel Cinnamon Rolls
Try your cinnamon rolls this way… you’ll be completely amazed by the soft, gooey, bakery-style result! These fluffy rolls are packed with warm cinnamon flavor, swirled with buttery brown sugar filling, and topped with a silky vanilla glaze that melts into every bite.
Ingredients
For the Dough
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
¼ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
⅓ cup melted butter
1 tsp salt
For the Cinnamon Filling
½ cup softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the Creamy Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp cream cheese
2–3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Add eggs, melted butter, and salt, then gradually mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Roll the dough into a large rectangle. Spread softened butter over the surface, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll tightly into a log and slice into rolls. Arrange them in a greased baking dish.
Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 22–25 minutes until golden and fluffy.
Mix glaze ingredients together and spread over the warm cinnamon rolls.
The secret? Pour a little warm cream over the rolls before baking for an extra soft, gooey center!
