Ultimate Philly Cheese Steak Hamburger Helper Skillet
A rich and cheesy one-pan pasta dinner packed with seasoned ground beef, tender peppers, and onions — all inspired by the classic Philly cheesesteak flavor everyone loves!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
2 cups milk
2 cups elbow macaroni or shell pasta
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella or provolone cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Cook the Beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
Add the Veggies
Stir in the chopped onion and green bell pepper. Cook for 4–5 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Simmer the Pasta
Pour in the beef broth and milk. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the pasta and bring to a gentle boil.
Cook Until Tender
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
Make It Cheesy
Stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
Serve & Enjoy
