Zesty 3-Ingredient Lemon Bars

These lemon bars are soft, tangy, and incredibly easy to make with just a few simple ingredients. Perfect for a quick dessert when you want something sweet and refreshing without the hassle.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

½ cup fresh lemon juice (about 2–3 lemons)

1 pre-made shortbread or biscuit crust (or crushed biscuits + melted butter as a base)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

If using crushed biscuits, mix them with a little melted butter and press into a baking pan to form the base.

In a bowl, mix the condensed milk with fresh lemon juice until smooth and slightly thickened.

Pour the lemon mixture over the crust evenly.

Bake for about 12–15 minutes until set but still soft in the center.

Let it cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.

Serving Tip:

Dust with powdered sugar or add a little lemon zest on top for extra freshness.
