Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1 large egg
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Directions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. Avoid overmixing.
Lightly flour your work surface and roll the dough to about 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut out donut shapes using a donut cutter or two round cutters of different sizes.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
Lightly grease the air fryer basket and arrange the donuts in a single layer, leaving space between them.
Air fry for 6–8 minutes, or until the donuts are puffed and lightly golden.
Remove and let cool slightly.
