Golden Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescent Brunch Bake

Golden Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescent Brunch Bake (Easy 3-Ingredient Favorite)
This cozy, no-fuss brunch bake is the kind of dish that turns an ordinary morning into something special. With just three simple ingredients, it creates layers of buttery, flaky crescent dough wrapped around a rich, creamy sausage filling. It’s warm, satisfying, and surprisingly hearty—perfect for slow Sundays, holiday mornings, or anytime you want comfort without the extra work.
Ingredients (Serves 6–8)
1 lb breakfast sausage
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish (about 9×9-inch).
Cook the sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
Make the filling:
Reduce heat to low and stir in the cream cheese until fully melted and combined with the sausage. Remove from heat.
Layer the base:
Unroll the crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, sealing any seams to form a solid crust.
Add the filling:
Spread the sausage and cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
Top it off:
Unroll the remaining crescent dough and place it over the filling. Gently press edges together to seal.
Bake:
Place in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and cooked through.
Cool & serve:
Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving warm.
Serving Suggestions
Serve this bake fresh from the oven with a side of fruit salad, berries, or sliced oranges to balance the richness. For a fuller brunch spread, pair it with scrambled eggs, a light veggie dish, and hot coffee or juice.
Leftovers reheat beautifully, making it just as perfect for a quick weekday breakfast or even a cozy breakfast-for-dinner.
Simple, comforting, and always a crowd-pleaser—this is one of those recipes you’ll come back to again and again.
