Ultimate Cheesy Chicken Bacon Potato Casserole

This rich and comforting casserole is loaded with tender potatoes, juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and plenty of melted cheese—all baked together in a creamy, flavorful sauce. It’s the kind of hearty dish that brings everyone back for seconds!

 

 

 

Ingredients

3 cups cooked potatoes, diced

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed

1 cup cooked bacon, chopped

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

 

 

 

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.

Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, chicken, and chopped bacon.

Make the creamy sauce: In another bowl, whisk together the sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Assemble the casserole: Pour the creamy mixture over the potato mixture and stir well to coat everything evenly.

Add the cheese: Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese, then transfer everything to the prepared baking dish.

Top it off: Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top.

Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden.

 

 

 

Serve: Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
