Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bake

Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bake

A Cozy Family Dinner So Good, You’ll Wish for Leftovers

My husband’s exact words after the very first bite were:

“Oh my goodness, Ashley… this is incredible. I’m secretly hoping the kids don’t finish it all!”

And honestly? I understood why the moment I tasted it. Tender chicken breasts baked in a rich, creamy garlic parmesan sauce with melted cheese bubbling on top — this recipe is pure comfort food.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper on both sides.

Sear the chicken

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side until lightly golden. Transfer them to the prepared baking dish.

Prepare the creamy sauce

In the same skillet, lower the heat and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Assemble the dish

Pour the creamy parmesan sauce over the chicken breasts. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Bake

Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve and enjoy

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.

Serving Ideas

Buttered pasta or fettuccine

Garlic bread

Roasted broccoli or asparagus

Creamy mashed potatoes

Rich, cheesy, creamy, and packed with flavor — this baked chicken recipe tastes like something straight from a cozy restaurant kitchen, but it’s easy enough for any weeknight dinner.
