Ingredients
300 g ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
50 ml (¼ cup) carbonated water
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp Italian herb blend
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp sweet paprika
4 slices of bread
180 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
Prepare the Beef Mixture
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, carbonated water, salt, black pepper, Italian herbs, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well until fully combined.
Prepare the Bread
Flatten the bread slices gently with a rolling pin or your hands. Remove the crusts if desired.
Assemble the Filling
Place a spoonful of the seasoned beef mixture onto each slice of bread. Add a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Shape the Bread Packs
Fold or roll the bread tightly around the filling and press the edges to seal.
Cook Until Golden
Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat or bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F). Cook for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bread is crispy and golden and the beef is fully cooked.
