Dreamy 3-Ingredient Orange Cream Dessert
This silky orange cream dessert is light, refreshing, and incredibly easy to make. With no eggs, no flour, and no starch, it turns into a smooth citrus treat that can be enjoyed creamy straight from the fridge or frozen like a delicate ice cream.
Ingredients
2 organic oranges
270 ml heavy cream (35% fat or higher)
50 g unrefined sugar
Instructions
Wash the oranges well and finely grate the zest from one orange.
Juice both oranges and strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp if desired.
In a saucepan, combine the orange juice, orange zest, and sugar. Heat gently for 2–3 minutes until the sugar fully dissolves. Let it cool slightly.
In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until soft and creamy.
Slowly fold the orange mixture into the whipped cream until smooth and airy.
Pour the mixture into dessert glasses or a small container.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours for a creamy mousse-like dessert, or freeze for 4–5 hours for a refreshing frozen treat.
