Golden Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Warm, flaky, and packed with creamy sausage filling, these baked crescent rolls are the kind of comfort food everyone reaches for first. The buttery pastry wraps around a rich blend of savory sausage and smooth cream cheese, creating the perfect bite for breakfast, brunch, or an easy family snack. Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

250 g ground breakfast sausage or turkey sausage

200 g cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for brushing)

 

 

 

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.

Add the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until creamy and well combined.

Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.

Spoon a generous amount of filling onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll tightly toward the tip.

Place the crescents on the prepared baking tray and brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until puffed and beautifully golden brown.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
