Instructions

Prepare the Chicken

Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them until evenly thin. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Add the Filling

Lay 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of Swiss cheese onto each chicken breast. Roll tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.

Bread the Chicken

Prepare three bowls:

One with flour

One with beaten eggs and milk

One with breadcrumbs

Coat each chicken roll in flour, dip into the egg mixture, then cover completely with breadcrumbs.

Bake Until Crispy

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the chicken rolls on a greased baking tray. Brush lightly with olive oil or melted butter. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Make the Sauce (Optional)

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly add milk while whisking until smooth. Stir in Dijon mustard and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve & Enjoy

Drizzle the creamy Dijon sauce over the crispy chicken and serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.

Serving Tip

For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs and broil the chicken for the last 2–3 minutes until beautifully golden.
