Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 garlic clove, minced

1 cup cabbage, finely shredded and lightly packed

2 large eggs, lightly beaten

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons shredded cheddar or Parmesan cheese (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Heat the butter and olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until melted and hot.

Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant.

Stir in the shredded cabbage and sauté for 3–5 minutes, or until softened and slightly golden around the edges.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Pour the beaten eggs over the cabbage and gently stir to combine.

Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are fully set but still soft and fluffy.

Sprinkle with cheese, if using, and allow it to melt for about 1 minute.
