Ingredients

For the Potato Dough

4 medium potatoes, peeled and boiled

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg

1 cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)

For the Filling

1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For Frying

Vegetable oil for frying

 

 

 

 

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes

Mash the boiled potatoes until smooth. Add butter, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and the egg. Mix well, then gradually stir in breadcrumbs until the mixture becomes soft and easy to shape.

Step 2: Make the Filling

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until soft and fragrant. Add the shredded chicken, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 3: Shape the Rolls

Take a spoonful of the potato mixture and flatten it in your hand. Add some chicken filling and a little mozzarella cheese in the center. Carefully roll and seal the edges to form a log shape.

Step 4: Coat & Fry

Roll each piece in extra breadcrumbs for a crispy coating. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy on all sides.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
