Ingredients

For the Banana Bread

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Cinnamon Swirl

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir gently until just combined.

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl mixture.

Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the batter.

Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.

Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon through the batter.

Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
