8 oz (225 g) angel hair pasta (capellini)
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Juice and zest of 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Extra Parmesan for serving
Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions until tender. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
Make the Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add Cream & Lemon
Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Let the sauce simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
Combine Everything
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss gently to coat. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and a splash of reserved pasta water if needed for a silkier sauce.
Season & Serve
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Serve this pasta with grilled chicken, shrimp, roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad for a complete meal.
