Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, finely minced

Optional (for extra flavor):

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

 

 

 

 

Directions:

Prep the Steak:

Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. This helps them sear properly and develop a nice crust.

Heat the Pan:

Place a large skillet (preferably cast iron) over medium-high heat until very hot.

Sear the Steak:

Add the steak cubes in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Sear for about 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Avoid overcrowding the pan.

Add Butter & Garlic:

Reduce heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt, then stir in the minced garlic. Toss the steak bites in the garlic butter for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Season & Serve:

Season with salt and pepper if desired. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Serve hot on a platter with toothpicks for easy sharing. Pair with a crisp green salad, roasted vegetables like asparagus or green beans, or creamy cauliflower mash to keep it low carb.
