The rich butter melts into fresh garlic, honey adds a gentle sweetness, and lime brightens everything with a refreshing zing. The result? Tender, flaky salmon infused with bold, comforting flavors in every bite.

This dish pairs beautifully with light sides like a crisp kale and avocado salad, or something heartier like roasted baby potatoes or fluffy jasmine rice that soaks up every drop of the delicious sauce.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Zest of 1 lime

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

Pat the salmon fillets dry, then season both sides with salt and pepper. Arrange them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic, honey, lime juice, and lime zest until well combined.

Spoon or drizzle the sauce generously over each fillet, making sure they are well coated.

Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the salmon is tender and flakes easily with a fork.

For a slightly caramelized finish, switch to broil for the last 2–3 minutes—watch closely to avoid burning.

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Variations & Tips:

Make it spicy: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of chili sauce to the butter mixture.

Extra citrus flavor: Swap lime for lemon or use a mix of both for a brighter taste.

Crispy edges: Sear the salmon in a hot pan for 1–2 minutes before baking.

Meal prep friendly: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days—great for salads or wraps.

Don’t overcook: Keep an eye on the salmon; overbaking can dry it out quickly.

This recipe proves that simple ingredients can create something truly memorable. Whether it’s a weeknight dinner or a last-minute gathering, this salmon never disappoints.
