For the Steak Marinade

1.5 lbs flank steak or skirt steak

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 large onion, sliced

2–3 bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced

Instructions

1. Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, and all spices.

Coat the steak thoroughly in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).

2. Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet or grill pan over high heat until very hot.

Sear the steak for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until nicely browned and cooked to your liking.

Let it rest for 5–10 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness.

3. Sauté the Vegetables
