Juicy, tender steak bites baked with crisp asparagus in a rich garlic butter sauce. This is a low-carb / keto-friendly one-pan meal that’s quick, flavorful, and perfect for dinner.
Ingredients (Serves 3–4)
500–700 g steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into bite-size cubes
1 bunch asparagus (trimmed)
4 tbsp butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika (optional)
1/2 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for freshness)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional but delicious)
Instructions
Preheat oven
Set your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Prepare steak
Pat steak dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs.
Prepare asparagus
Wash and trim the woody ends.
Place on a baking dish or sheet pan.
Make garlic butter
Mix melted butter with minced garlic and lemon juice.
Assemble
Spread asparagus evenly in the pan.
Add steak bites on top or beside the asparagus.
Drizzle everything with the garlic butter sauce.
Bake
Bake for 10–15 minutes, depending on how you like your steak:
10 min = medium-rare
12–15 min = medium to well done
Optional finish
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden finish.
Serve
Let rest 3–5 minutes, then serve hot.
