Ingredients

For the Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Cranberry Glaze

1 cup cranberry sauce

2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons orange juice

1 tablespoon soy sauce

½ teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Sear the Chicken

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Cranberry Glaze

In the same skillet, add cranberry sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, orange juice, soy sauce, and thyme. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.

Combine and Finish

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon the glaze over the chicken and simmer for another 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and coated in the glossy cranberry sauce.

Serve

Garnish with fresh parsley or orange zest if desired. Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.

Tips

Add crushed red pepper flakes for a little heat.

Fresh cranberries can be used instead of cranberry sauce for a more tart flavor.

This recipe pairs beautifully with wild rice or buttery mashed potatoes.
