Oven-Baked 3-Ingredient Creamy Mushroom Pork Chops

Oven-Baked 3-Ingredient Creamy Mushroom Pork Chops
This simple comfort-food dish is famous for its rich mushroom gravy and tender pork chops. Everything bakes together in one dish, letting the pork slowly cook in the creamy sauce until it becomes juicy and flavorful. Perfect for busy nights when you want a warm, homemade meal with almost no effort.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1–1½ inches thick)
1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 jar (about 4–8 oz / 115–225 g) sliced mushrooms, drained
Optional (but recommended for extra flavor):
Salt and black pepper
Garlic powder or onion powder
Instructions
Preheat the oven
Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the casserole dish
Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or casserole pan.
Arrange the pork chops
Place the pork chops in a single layer in the dish.
Season lightly with salt, pepper, or garlic powder if desired.
Make the mushroom sauce
In a bowl, mix the condensed mushroom soup with the jarred mushrooms.
Stir until combined.
Cover the pork chops
Spread the mushroom mixture evenly over the pork chops, covering them completely.
Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 40–45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until the pork chops are tender and the sauce is bubbling.
Rest and serve
Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving so the sauce thickens slightly.
Serving Ideas
This dish makes a lot of creamy gravy, so it pairs perfectly with:
Mashed potatoes
Buttered egg noodles
Steamed rice
Crusty bread or baguette
Add a simple side like green beans, broccoli, or a fresh salad to balance the richness.
- Quick Tip:
If the sauce looks too thick before baking, stir in ¼ cup milk or water to make it extra creamy.
