Cheesy Hamburger Pasta Skillet
Ingredients
500 g ground beef
2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow, penne, or shells work best)
2 cups beef broth
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes (or tomato sauce)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella, or mix)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika (optional, for flavor)
1/2 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
1/2 cup milk or cream (for extra creaminess, optional)
Instructions
Cook the beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned (5–7 minutes). Break it apart as it cooks.
Add aromatics
Add chopped onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft.
Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add liquids & pasta
Pour in beef broth and crushed tomatoes.
Add uncooked pasta, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Stir well.
Simmer
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Cover and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
Make it creamy & cheesy
Stir in milk or cream (if using).
Add shredded cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
Serve
Remove from heat and let sit 2–3 minutes.
Serve hot with extra cheese on top if you like
Tips
Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrition
Use spicy cheese or chili flakes if you want heat
If it gets too thick, just add a splash of broth or water
