Slow Cooker Creamy Mushroom Hamburger Patties

Slow Cooker Creamy Mushroom Hamburger Patties
A simple, budget-friendly comfort meal made right in the slow cooker. Tender hamburger patties simmer in a rich mushroom gravy and turn out incredibly flavorful with minimal effort.
Ingredients (4 servings)
1½ lbs ground beef (80/20 works best)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 packet (about 1 oz) onion soup mix
½ cup milk or beef broth
Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional (but delicious):
1 cup sliced mushrooms
½ onion, sliced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1️⃣ Form the Patties
Divide ground beef into 4–6 equal portions.
Shape into oval or round patties (slightly larger than your palm).
Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
(Optional: For extra flavor, you can quickly brown the patties in a skillet 2–3 minutes per side before adding to the slow cooker. This step is not required but adds depth.)
2️⃣ Mix the Gravy
In a bowl, combine:
Cream of mushroom soup
Onion soup mix
Milk or beef broth
Worcestershire sauce (if using)
Stir until smooth.
3️⃣ Assemble in Slow Cooker
Place raw (or browned) patties in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Scatter sliced mushrooms and onions on top if using.
Pour the soup mixture evenly over everything.
4️⃣ Cook
LOW: 6–7 hours
HIGH: 3–4 hours
Patties should be tender and fully cooked through.
5️⃣ Serve
Spoon the rich mushroom gravy over the patties and serve with:
Mashed potatoes
Egg noodles
White rice
Or crusty bread
Budget Tip
Stretch the meal further by serving over rice or noodles and adding a simple side of green beans or peas.
