Ingredients

4 boneless or bone-in pork chops

1 cup peach preserves

2 fresh peaches, sliced (or 1 can sliced peaches, drained)

1 packet dry onion soup mix

Instructions

Tear four large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil.

Place one pork chop in the center of each foil sheet.

Spread each pork chop generously with peach preserves.

Top evenly with sliced peaches.

Sprinkle each packet with dry onion soup mix.

Fold the foil tightly around each pork chop, sealing well to create individual packets.

Arrange the foil packets in the slow cooker, stacking slightly if needed.

Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 2½ to 3 hours, until the pork is tender and fully cooked.

Carefully open the packets, as hot steam will escape.

Serve immediately, spooning the sweet peach glaze over the pork.

Serving Suggestions

Serve over fluffy white rice, buttered egg noodles, or creamy mashed potatoes to soak up the delicious sauce. Pair with steamed green beans, roasted asparagus, or a crisp garden salad for a fresh, balanced meal.

Tips

For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or a sprinkle of fresh thyme before sealing the packets.

Nectarine preserves can be substituted for peach preserves for a slightly different twist.
