Ultimate Vanilla & Chocolate Marble Cake

Ultimate Vanilla & Chocolate Marble Cake
Some cakes instantly take us back to childhood… and Marble Cake is definitely one of them
That beautiful swirl of vanilla and chocolate in every slice never gets old. Soft, buttery, and perfectly balanced between rich cocoa and sweet vanilla — it’s the kind of cake you cut “just one small slice” of… and somehow end up finishing completely .
Ingredients
For the Cake
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 large eggs
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons hot milk or coffee
Optional Chocolate Glaze
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan or bundt pan.
Prepare the batter
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
Combine dry ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
Create the chocolate batter
Divide the batter into two portions. Mix the cocoa powder and hot milk (or coffee) into one half until smooth.
Make the marble effect
Spoon alternating layers of vanilla and chocolate batter into the pan. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the batters together for that classic marbled look.
Bake
Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Optional glaze
Heat the cream and pour it over the chocolate chips. Stir until smooth, then drizzle over the cooled cake.
Serving Idea
Enjoy it slightly warm with a glass of milk, coffee, or hot chocolate for the ultimate cozy treat.
Soft, nostalgic, and impossible to resist — this Marble Cake is pure comfort in every bite
