Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon until combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.

Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let it cool.

2. Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add sugar and mix well.

Blend in sour cream and vanilla extract.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently after each addition until just combined.

3. Prepare the Apple Layer

In another bowl, toss the sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice until evenly coated.

4. Assemble the Cheesecake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust.

Gently layer the apple mixture on top.

5. Make the Crisp Topping

In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, and cinnamon.

Cut in the cold butter using your fingers or a fork until crumbly.

Sprinkle evenly over the apples.

6. Bake

Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until the center is just set.

Turn off the oven, crack the door slightly, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.

7. Chill

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) for best texture.

8. Serve

Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving for an extra indulgent finish.

Tips for Success

Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for the best texture.

Don’t overmix the batter to avoid cracks.

A water bath can help create a smoother cheesecake if desired.

This dessert is rich, cozy, and packed with layers of flavor—every bite tastes like autumn wrapped in creamy perfection.
