Creamy 4-Ingredient Chicken Crescent Bake

Creamy 4-Ingredient Chicken Crescent Bake

This nostalgic oven-baked chicken crescent bake is the kind of recipe that has been passed around at baby showers, bridal luncheons, and church potlucks for generations. My mother-in-law made it throughout the 1970s, and even today, guests still ask for the recipe after the first bite!

Creamy shredded chicken is wrapped in buttery crescent dough and baked until golden, flaky, and irresistibly bubbly. With only four simple ingredients, this easy comfort-food classic is perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, or casual entertaining.

Ingredients

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, and softened cream cheese. Stir until creamy and well combined.

Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.

Place a spoonful of the creamy chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Roll each piece up, starting from the wide end and tucking the filling inside as much as possible.

Arrange the crescents in the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.

Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

A retro family favorite that proves you don’t need a long ingredient list to make a dish everyone remembers!
