Fizzy Grape Soda Dream Cupcakes

INGREDIENTS
Cupcake Batter
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 eggs
¾ cup grape soda (room temperature)
1 tsp grape extract
Purple gel food coloring
Grape Buttercream
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp grape soda concentrate
½ tsp grape extract
Purple food coloring

Soft, fluffy crumb with a sweet grape aroma and creamy, dreamy frosting.
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Mix in grape extract and coloring.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and grape soda.
Fill liners ¾ full.
Bake 18–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before frosting.
Beat butter until smooth.
Add powdered sugar gradually.
Mix in grape soda concentrate and extract.
Pipe tall swirls onto cupcakes.
Add sprinkles and candy topper.
