Ginger–Lemon–Honey Comfort Drink
A warm, soothing drink for comfort and everyday wellness
Ingredients
1 piece fresh ginger (about 3–4 cm / 1½ inches)
1 fresh lemon
1–2 tablespoons raw honey (to taste)
2 cups water
Optional additions (choose if you like):
A pinch of cinnamon
A few mint leaves
A tiny pinch of turmeric
How to Prepare
Prepare the ginger
Peel the ginger (optional).
Slice or grate it thinly.
Boil the water
Bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil.
Add ginger
Add ginger to the boiling water.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain
Remove from heat and strain into a cup.
Add lemon & honey
Let the drink cool slightly (very important).
Add freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Stir in honey until dissolved.
Do not add honey to boiling water—heat destroys its beneficial properties.
How to Use
Morning comfort:
1 warm cup on an empty stomach
When feeling tired or chilly:
1 cup, 1–2 times daily
Evening relaxation:
Drink warm, 30–60 minutes before bed
Sip slowly and enjoy the warmth
Storage
Best consumed fresh
Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours
Reheat gently (do not boil)
Add honey and lemon after reheating
Important Notes
Not suitable for babies under 1 year (contains honey)
If you have stomach sensitivity, reduce ginger amount
This drink is for comfort and general wellness, not a medical treatment
If you are on medication or have health conditions, use moderately
