Sweet & Spicy Power Protein Bowls (Creamy, Savory & Totally Satisfying)

 

These protein-packed bowls are the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and creamy. With roasted sweet potatoes, seasoned ground meat, fresh avocado, and a drizzle of hot honey, every bite is nourishing and full of flavor—ideal for a quick lunch or a wholesome dinner.

Ingredients

1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)

2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

1–2 ripe avocados, sliced

1 cup cottage cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1 teaspoon paprika or chili powder (optional)

Hot honey, for drizzling

 

 

 

 

Instructions

Roast the sweet potatoes:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the cubed sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 20–25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.

Cook the ground meat:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground meat until browned and fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices you like.

Prepare the avocado:

Slice the avocados just before assembling to keep them fresh and vibrant.

Assemble the bowls:

Divide the roasted sweet potatoes and cooked ground meat into serving bowls. Add a generous scoop of cottage cheese and top with fresh avocado slices.

Finish with flavor:

Drizzle hot honey over the top for that perfect sweet-and-spicy kick.
