Ultimate Italian-Inspired Spaghetti Beef Skillet

Ingredients

300 g spaghetti

200 g bacon, chopped

1 red onion, finely diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

700 g minced beef

200 g tomato sauce

40 g butter

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning or oregano

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

 

 

 

 

Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving a little bacon fat in the pan for extra flavor.

Prepare the Sauce

Add the butter to the skillet, then sauté the red onion for 3–4 minutes until soft. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

Brown the Beef

Add the minced beef and cook until browned and fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Add the Tomato Sauce

Pour in the tomato sauce and let everything simmer for 8–10 minutes so the flavors blend beautifully.

Combine Everything

Return the crispy bacon to the skillet, then toss in the cooked spaghetti. Mix well until the pasta is fully coated in the rich sauce.

Serve & Enjoy

Garnish with fresh parsley and plenty of grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot and enjoy every comforting bite!
