Cheesy Baked Tortellini Delight (Easy Comfort Oven Pasta)
A warm, bubbly pasta bake loaded with cheesy goodness and rich tomato flavor—perfect for a cozy dinner or a quick family meal!
Ingredients:
500g (1 lb) cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
2 cups marinara sauce (tomato or pasta sauce)
1 cup cooked ground beef or chicken (optional)
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray.
Cook the Tortellini
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions (usually 3–5 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked ground beef or chicken if using.
Assemble the Dish
Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce mixture and toss gently to coat. Transfer half of the mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Layer and Top
Add the remaining tortellini mixture on top, then finish with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake to Perfection
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
Garnish and Serve
Let it cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley or basil before serving.
