2 tbsp olive oil
150 g shredded mozzarella or Gruyère cheese

Instructions
Prepare the Potatoes
Boil the potatoes until just tender. Let them cool slightly, then slice into rounds.
Cook the Meatballs
In a bowl, season the ground beef with garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Shape into small meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Sauté the Onion
In the same pan, cook the chopped onion until soft and lightly golden.
Assemble the Bake
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
In a baking dish, arrange a layer of potato slices, then add onions and meatballs. Repeat the layers until everything is used.
Add Cheese & Cream
Pour the cream evenly over the dish. Top generously with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with a crisp salad or toasted bread.
