Ingredients
200 g plain biscuits (like tea biscuits), crushed
100 g butter
3 tbsp cocoa powder
½ cup sugar (adjust to taste or skip for less sweetness)
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
A pinch of salt (optional)
Optional add-ins (for extra flavor & texture):
Chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts)
Chocolate chips
Dried fruits (raisins)
Instructions
Crush the biscuits
Break biscuits into small chunks (not too fine—some texture is nice).
Make the chocolate sauce
In a saucepan on low heat:
Melt the butter
Add cocoa powder, sugar, and milk
Stir until smooth and slightly thick (2–3 minutes)
Add vanilla and a pinch of salt
Combine
Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the crushed biscuits.
Mix well until all pieces are coated.
Shape the cake
Line a pan or tray with parchment paper
Press the mixture firmly into the pan
(or roll into a log using plastic wrap)
Chill
Refrigerate for 2–3 hours (or until firm).
