Peppermint Bark Moonshine

 

 

 

Ingredients

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 cup whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup crème de cacao (optional, boosts chocolate flavor)

1 to 1½ cups Everclear (or high-proof neutral spirit)

½ cup peppermint vodka (optional for extra mint kick)

Optional garnish: crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings

Blender (for ultra-smooth texture)

Fine mesh strainer

Mason jars or bottles

Instructions

Step 1: Melt the Chocolate

In a saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips and milk.

Stir constantly until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

 

Tip: Don’t let it boil — just gently melt and combine.

 

Step 2: Add the Creamy Base

Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream. Stir until fully blended.

Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly (warm but not hot).

 

 

 

Step 3: Add Flavor and Booze

Once slightly cooled, stir in peppermint extract, vanilla extract, crème de cacao (if using), Everclear, and peppermint vodka.

Whisk until fully incorporated.

 

Flavor Note: Adjust peppermint extract to taste — it’s strong!

 

Step 4: Blend and Strain

For a perfectly smooth finish, blend the mixture briefly and strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove any chocolate solids.

 

Step 5: Bottle and Chill

Pour into mason jars or bottles and seal tightly.

Refrigerate for at least 12 hours before serving
