Cheesy Beef & Mushroom Crescent Cups

Cheesy Beef & Mushroom Crescent Cups – The Ultimate Potluck Favorite
The first time I tasted these savory little crescent cups was at a church spring potluck, where they disappeared from the serving table almost as soon as they came out of the oven. One bite explained why—flaky golden crescent dough wrapped around a rich, creamy beef and mushroom filling that’s warm, hearty, and incredibly satisfying.
Made with just a handful of simple ingredients, these bite-sized treats are the perfect example of classic comfort food. They’re quick to prepare, easy to transport, and ideal for potlucks, family gatherings, game days, or busy weeknight dinners. Every bite delivers buttery pastry, seasoned ground beef, and creamy mushroom goodness, finished with melty cheese for even more flavor.
Serve them fresh from the oven on a large platter and watch them disappear!
Ingredients
2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon paprika
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a standard muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess grease.
Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and cook for another minute until melted. Remove from the heat.
Separate the crescent dough into triangles. Press each triangle into a muffin cup, gently pinching the seams together to create a small pastry cup.
Spoon the beef mixture evenly into each crescent cup.
Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the tops.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is puffed and golden brown.
Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the muffin tin. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
